Raigo
Co-founder, piercer
Raigo is a professional body piercer with Estonian roots, whose interest in piercing and body modification began in the late 1990s. In 2009, he joined a suspension team in Finland, where he had the opportunity to learn the technical and practical basics of piercing under Jussi's guidance.
Raigo took his first steps as a piercer in 2016, but his skills and the quality of his work developed significantly after he started working full-time as a piercer at Paradise Tattoo & Piercing studio in Helsinki in 2019. The experience he gained there and his contact with internationally recognized piercers gave him a thorough understanding of professional standards and precision, which are still an integral part of his work today.
In the fall of 2024, Raigo and Jussi opened Shine Piercing Boutique in Tallinn – a modern piercing studio that combines the right techniques, a safe environment, and personal attention to each customer. Shine's goal is to offer a service in Estonia that meets international standards and raises the bar for safety and quality.
Raigo believes that every piercing is more than just pretty jewelry – it is an experience that must be safe, professional, and memorable. For him, work is never a case of “do and forget.” He calmly explains each step, ensures the client's comfort, and provides thorough instructions for aftercare.
His principle is simple: the right professional techniques, continuous self-improvement, and complete dedication to the well-being and safety of his clients.
Jussi
Co-founder
Jussi is a piercing and body modification specialist with extensive experience, whose interest in this field began in the early 1990s. He started as an intern in 1999 and has been fully committed to developing his profession ever since.
He has extensive knowledge of various piercings, microdermals, and scarification, as well as more complex body modifications such as implants and tongue splitting. Jussi is Finland's most experienced body suspension practitioner and has polished his skills on an international level.
Jussi has shared his knowledge at numerous international events, while also learning from the world's best. His presentations and participation at events such as the APP Expo in Las Vegas, Wings of Desire Suscon in Oslo, BMXnet Germany, and the Dallas Suspension Convention have inspired the body modification community around the world.
Today, Jussi focuses on managing Shine Piercing Boutique and Paradise Tattoo & Piercing and developing their studios with the aim of making them the best in their country.
